OUR COVID-19 Policy

COVID-19 (1).png

Our team at The Dentist appreciate the growing concerns you may have regarding the recent Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

If you are concerned whether your dental needs and care will be looked after during this period, please be assured we are still open and ready to look after you.

The health and safety of our patients and staff are of utmost concern to us. We are taking steps to ensure our clinic remains as safe as possible to give you the confidence that you can continue coming in to receive treatment and advice as necessary.

Our staff are well trained in medical grade infection control procedures and will continue to uphold our high clinical and infection control standards. We have put in place further measures to minimise the risk and spread of COVID-19 to our patients and staff.

Here at The Dentist, we are well stocked with masks and gloves. We will continue to ensure the safety of and protect all dentists, staff and patients. All surfaces within the practice including reception and waiting areas will be disinfected regularly. We have also removed all magazines, toys and water dispensers from the waiting room as precautionary measures. Hand sanitisers and hand washing areas will be made available for all our patients to use during their visit. We also ask that you wear a mask in the waiting room where you cannot maintain socially distant.

If you have a fever, respiratory symptoms and have travelled overseas in the last 14 days or had contact with a person with COVID-19 while infectious, please contact the practice at 02 9416 2384 BEFORE coming in for your appointment.

If you are unsure whether or not you will need to reschedule your next dental visit, please call us on 02 9416 2384 to discuss.

These measures are in place to protect our patients, staff, and community that come into contact with the practice so that we can ensure that we can continue to provide ongoing dental services to you and your family.
