DR JOANNA CHEN (BDS)

Joanna completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree at the prestigious University of Adelaide in 2010.  Joanna continues to commit herself to ongoing training and development. She is very meticulous in all clinical procedures and her colleagues regard her as a perfectionist. Joanna believes in respecting and caring for her patients which are balanced by her gentle, approachable nature and a strong drive in pursuing clinical excellence. She enjoys practicing all aspects of general dentistry with particular interests in cosmetic dentistry and paediatric dentistry. Joanna and her husband who is a specialist orthodontist live locally in Roseville with their two boisterous boys, Lucas and Liam, and a baby girl, Lara. When not practicing dentistry, she loves spending time with her family and enjoys yoga and pilates, piano, cooking, and travelling. Joanna speaks fluent English, Malay, Mandarin, and Cantonese. 

DR JOHN GREENSTONE (BDS) 

John completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Pretoria.   

John has been practicing dentistry in Lindfield for over 40 years in a previous partnership at Russell Avenue, Lindfield. In 2017, John sold his practice to Joanna, and in November 2018, they had the opportunity to relocate and to a better and more prominent location at 356 Pacific Highway, Lindfield. John is dedicated to providing the best preventative clinical care for his patients. Over the years, John has committed to numerous ongoing training and development. He is very precise and thorough in all clinical procedures. John enjoys all aspects of dentistry with a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry. When not practicing dentistry, John enjoys keeping fit, pilates, hiking, and traveling!  

DR BERNARD TAYLOR (BDS)

Bernard is an experienced Dental Clinician having practiced in many countries throughout his career including, in Johannesburg, South Africa, in London, United Kingdom, and now in the Sydney North Shore area since 1992. 

Bernard has found is passion in practicing 'family dentistry' with many of his patients trusting his expertise across multiple generations. He has gained valuable experience in all areas of dentistry, delivering his services in a calm, relaxing, and proficient manner. He states that his responsibility to his patients is "to deliver a service ensuring the maintenance of an oral environment that functions perfectly free of pain or discomfort with an aesthetic appeal to have happy smiles all round". In his spare time, Bernard enjoys an active life of cycling, occasional scuba diving, and has a love of photography. 

     

DR CLAIRE O'MARA (BDS)

Claire completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at James Cook University in Cairns, Queensland. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and her main aim is to make the dentist a comfortable place for all her patients. She practices with a gentle and calming approach with great attention detail, ensuring she tends to her patients' needs. 

Outside of dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, travelling, spending time at the beach, and playing water polo.

DR YONG KHO (BDS); BMed MSurg; MRACDS(PDS)

 

Dr Yong Kho is a registered general dentist, and registered medical practitioner. Yong graduated Bachelor of Dental Surgery from The University of Adelaide, Bachelor of Medicine from The University of Newcastle, and Master of Surgery from The University of Sydney. He was awarded the Dental School Medal.

 

Yong has worked in both public and private practice in both dentistry and medicine. He trained at Prince of Wales Hospital, Westmead Hospital, The Canberra Hospital, John Hunter Hospital, Royal Adelaide Hospital, and Queen’s Medical Centre (UK). His experience includes various surgical disciplines, critical care, paediatrics, and general medicine.

 

Yong is a Member (by examination) of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. He is actively involved in training, as an Examiner in the college Primary Dental Sciences Examination, and as a Clinical Educator in the Dental Extraction clinic at The University of Sydney.

 

His general dental practice is focused on surgical dentistry.

 

Previously, Yong has been involved in volunteer work locally and internationally, and has sat on various boards and committees.

 

                          

JANET LIE (BOH)

Janet is our lovely oral health therapist who studied at the University of Sydney, where she completed a Bachelor of Oral Health. 

 

As a therapist, she is committed to ensuring her patients are equipped with the knowledge to attain good oral hygiene and prevent gum disease. Janet strives to develop trust with her patients to ensure their oral health concerns and needs are met with care and patience. She is dedicated to aligning her practice with her patients’ goals in providing thorough cleaning experiences and customised oral hygiene routines that they are comfortable with. Her friendly and gentle chair-side manner is greatly appreciated by her patients of all ages, even the most nervous. 

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exploring new places to eat, and traveling.
